Sopartec is the Technology Transfer Company of the Universitéé catholique de Louvain (UCL).
Sopartec, a limited liability company, is a fully owned subsidiary of UCL.
In collaboration with the Research Management Office of the Université catholique de Louvain, Sopartec is in charge of the management and the exploitation of the intellectual property of the University. Before launching spin-off companies, sopartec provides assistance to entrepreneurs during the incubation stage.
Sopartec provides seed capital to spin-offs based in whole or in part on research from UCL.
