Membership is open to all partnerships, companies and associations that, directly or by virtue of the funds at their disposal, can be considered as professionals in venture capital. Members should:
Possess substantial experience in the extension of venture capital to companies displaying growth potential.
Aim for medium term return on their investments.
Have their professional activity primarily in Belgium.
support their investment through active participation in the management of the companies in which they have invested.
BVA Partners
The BVA is actively looking to conclude partnership agreements with other professional federations, in order to promote the use of private equity and venture capital by the Belgian companies and entrepreneurs. As part of this agreement, representatives of the BVA and our Partners regularly meet to discuss the issues relevant to the members of both federations and work on joint projects. Representatives of the Partners are also invited to discuss these issues during the BVA’s President’s Meeting.”
Currently, the BVA partners are Febelfin, UWE and Voka.
